A burglar targets a Salina home and steals several thousand dollars worth of items.

Police say that sometime on Monday between 8:15 in the morning and 7:30 in the evening a home at 620 Montrose was broken into. Entry was gained by damaging a window.

Items taken include two computers, two cameras, assorted jewelry including a woman’s gold and diamond wedding ring, and a small amount of cash. A safe containing legal documents was also damaged.

Total loss and damage is estimated at $3,090.
