Eight people on the December list of Salina’s Most Wanted are caught.

The latest list of Salina’s Most Wanted went on-line back on December 7th. Since then, 8 have been arrested.

Those arrested were wanted for crimes that include aggravated battery, felony battery of a corrections officer, making criminal threats, felony fleeing and eluding, endangering a child, burglary, felony theft, and felony drug crimes.

Since the Most Wanted program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, 1,961 criminals have been caught, and 272 crime stoppers rewards have been given out.

The most wanted program was founded through the cooperation of the Salina Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the Salina Journal, and Newsradio 1150 KSAL.
