Driver Leads Police on Chase in Stolen Truck

A stolen vehicle is recovered in the parking lot at the Salina Journal following a high speed pursuit Friday.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells News that an officer on patrol heard the description of a 1994 Toyota Tacoma truck on Friday afternoon and saw it driving past in the 700 block of South Street.

An attempt to stop the truck turned into a chase that reached speeds of 60  with the suspect running stop signs on 9th Street and Mulberry.
