Driver Hurt in Ellsworth County Crash

KSAL Staff - June 12, 2017 3:40 pm

A Missouri man was hurt in a single vehicle crash, when he rolled his truck on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County late Monday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Evan Oltremare from Butler, Missouri, was driving a 2001 Ford truck headed west on I 70. For an unknown reason, the truck went into the median, crossed back into the westbound lanes, and rolled an unknown amount of times. The truck came to rest in the north ditch.

Oltremare, who was buckled up, was hurt. He was transported in to the hospital in Salina.

The crash happened just before 11:30 Monday morning, about four miles east of Kansas Highway 232 near the Wilson Exit, in Ellsworth County.
