The Kansas State University Police Department is investigating the death of a Kansas State University student.

According to the school, on Wednesday night at approximately 10:35 the Kansas State University Police responded to a medical emergency in a residence hall parking lot. Upon arrival they found a male deceased in a vehicle.

An investigation is being conducted into the cause of death and no further information is being released at this time. The student is not being named pending notification of the family.
