13. Dancing Moon Roller
Artist: Reven Marie Swanson
Description of piece:
This sculpture began with large sheet of 1/4-inch plate steel and a desire to encapsulate happiness, whimsy and lightheartedness. The plates are plasma cut and heat-treated into a giant spring.
Reven Marie created this piece using a plate steel cut using a plasma cutter and heat-treated. The powder coat finish has a ‘special’ mix created by the artist to increase the hue range of the colors.
