The City of Salina will begin its annual curbside leaf collection effort on Monday, November 2nd.

According to a news release, crews will begin picking up piled leaves in Zone 1, between November 2nd and 13th.

Zone 1 is all of the city south of Republic Avenue.

Zone 2, scheduled for pickup from November 16th through 27th, is designated as homes between Crawford and Republic Avenue.

Leaves in Zone 3, between Iron Avenue and Crawford Street, will be collected from November 30th to December 11th.

Crews will pick up leaves in Zone 4, all of the city north of Iron Avenue, from December 14th to December 31st.

City officials advise homeowners to rake and pile leaves between the curb and sidewalk. If no sidewalk exists, pile leaves directly behind the curb.

Crews will not pick up leaves in the alleys.
