A Solomon man is injured after an SUV hits the motorcycle he was riding.

The Saline County Sheriff’s office reports that Pamela Misker of Indiana was westbound on Old 40 Highway at 7:10pm on July 3rd, when she attempted to make a left hand turn onto Simpson Road in front of an eastbound motorcycle.

The collision threw 19-year-old Tate Walker from his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle.

Walker was transported to the hospital in Salina while Misker was ticketed with failure to yield the right of way.
