A Wal-Mart employee is arrested for theft.

Salina Police arrested 39-year-old Alejandrian Ochanda on Wednesday on theft charges.

Police were contacted by staff at Wal-Mart, 2900 S. 9th, after an internal investigation showed Ochanda took money from the cash drawer on 18 occasions while on duty between December 31, 2014 and January 11th.

Police allege the woman stole $1,170 and is being charged with felony theft.
