Wet roads contribute to a crash on Interstate 135 near Salina Monday afternoon that sends two people to the hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol,a 2008 Dodge Caliber driven by 61-year-old Sarah Brown of Republic was headed south, north of State Street. Her vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the median, and struck a 2002 Chrysler Voyager that was headed south, driven by 55-year-old Larry Schrant of Hays.

Schrant and a passenger in his car, 55-year-old Teresa Schrant, were both hurt and were transported to Salina Regional Health Center.

Troopers say that everyone was properly buckled up.
