Two sessions will be held. The first session will run from 6-7:25pm and will feature candidates for USD 305 School Board. The second will run from 7:30-9pm and will feature candidates for Salina City Commission.

The forum will be moderated by Frank Hampton, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, and Abner Perney, President of the League of Women Voters.

The format of the forum will consist of one minute opening remarks by each candidate, questions from a media panel, questions from the audience, and one minute closing remarks by each candidate. Candidates will have one minute to answer questions.

The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters each have Voter Guides with questionnaires by the candidates. Both booklets will be available at the forum and at the Saline County Clerk’s office, 300 W. Ash, Room 215.

I did not know Abner was a transgender . How can a whole male be president of league of womens voters. Why should anyone waste their time to listen to these people as they will say anything to get elected. What I do know is anyone currently on the commission needs to be gone. Especially after wanting to put more greeting signs in Salina. They spent half a million on that pile of manure in south Salina. Further its time for Gage to move on we need a new city manager.
