The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible case of arson after a trailer is burned up.

Deputies say Kevin Lilley was just about to take a bath early Saturday morning when he noticed a bright light outside his home around 1:50am.

Lilley told deputies he rushed out to his 2001 Fleetwood Travel Trailer to try and fight the blaze with a garden hose.

The trailer, which he recently winterized, was parked on his property on Spring Street in Gypsum and is valued by deputies at $1,000.
