A Saline County Jail inmate is facing additional charges after police connect him to a theft and forgery case involving a car.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 27-year-old Sergio Granado is charged with selling a car he did not own.

Police say Granado borrowed a 1990 Cadillac DeVille from 24-year-old Callan Dodge of Salina, then sold it to a woman and forged the title.

Dodge contacted police on September 29th and investigators tracked down Granado in the jail.
