Salina Police

Police are investigating a burglary and theft from a Salina fast food stop.

Police are reviewing video from Taco John’s, 303 S. Santa Fe, after a male suspect smashed the drive through window and stole cash from inside.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, a heavy set male used a brick to break the window Wednesday morning at about 3am.

Police say he climbed into the restaurant and stole over $1,000 in cash from the safe and exited through the same window.

An estimated $200 in damage was done to the window.

Gee you must be a cop to ask a question like that. Simple its someone who either worked there or knew someone that did and had the combination to the safe if indeed it was a safe not a cash box you can drop on the floor to open it. By the way ITS WEAPON.

Still no arrest??? Oh that’s right the chief of police retired early and the city manager has not even interviewed one possible replacement. Remember the old saying Salina City on the Move. Looks like when we hired these two we stopped moving.
