Burglar Found after 911 Call

Police arrest a man found in the early morning hours with a hammer and flashlight.

Devin Unrein, 19 of Salina was arrested Wednesday morning at 2:48am, after officers found him walking near the area where someone had just tried to break into a business.

A man associated with TPJ Cycle Works, 662 E. North Street, was inside the building and called 911 when he realized someone had broke a window and was trying to get in.

Police say Unrein also had a cut on his hand when they found him and arrested him for attempted burglary and damage to property. Police are still seeking another suspect in the case.

Replacement cost of the window is estimated at $200.
