Security video from the YMCA links a Salina man to a crime.

Catptain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 20-year-old Malachi W. Lageman was arrested on Sunday after a traffic stop.

Police tied Lageman, who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court, to images recorded of a vehicle burglary in the parking lot at the YMCA located at 570 YMCA Drive.

Police say he smashed two windows on a 2005 Honda CRV and stole a purse containing $200 cash, ID, and a cell phone.

Total loss and damage was listed at $600.
