Bullet Holes in Stained Glass

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating damage to stained glass at an area church.

Pastor Ethan Feistner told deputies that a cleaning lady found broken glass in the Salemsborg Church, 3831 W. Salemsborg Rd. on Friday evening.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that someone apparently shot twice at a 20-foot stained glass window sometime between Wednesday evening at 10pm and Friday night around 8pm.

Only one bullet was recovered inside the church, on the floor of the balcony after it grazed a pew.

Pastor Feistner estimates the cost to replace the two damaged panels is $2,500.
