Break-in at Golf Course

Salina Police are investigating a burglary at the Salina Municipal Golf Course over the weekend.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that sometime between 5pm Friday and 8am Saturday, someone shattered two large windows to gain entry into the pro shop and steal cash, candy and hats.

Police say 10 Titleist brand hats and polo shirts were taken, $80 in quarters and a box of Kit Kats and a box of Reeses peanut butter cups were also stolen.

Loss and damage is listed at $2,470.
