A body found in a wooded area behind the Salina YMCA is believed to be a man who committed suicide.

According to Salina Police, at 7:57 Wednesday evening medics and officers were sent to the fitness trails behind the YMCA in reference to an unresponsive person. First responders located an adult male deceased in the wooded area.

The Salina Police Department is working this as a suicide. An autopsy has been ordered.
