The king of monster trucks is coming to Salina.

Bigfoot and the Toughest Monster Truck Tour are coming to the Bicentennial Center.

According to the Bicentennial Center, the Toughest Monster Truck Tour strives to create more exciting events by building challenging dirt tracks and bringing together some of the best monster trucks and drivers in the nation.

Here’s what fans can expect to see at the Toughest Monster Truck Tour event at the Bicentennial Center:
1. 1,500 tons of dirt will be hauled in on 60 trucks to transform the floor of the Bicentennial Center into a challenging dirt track with obstacles and turns never seen before in Salina. Higher degree of difficulty for the drivers means a higher risk for crashes and a more exciting event for the fans.
2. Five monster trucks will compete in three elements:
* Wheelie Competition – each truck does two wheelies and is judged based on height and general “wow-factor”
* Racing
* Freestyle – A fan favorite: each truck will have two minutes to hit all the obstacles in judged event
The truck with the highest combined score will be named the Toughest Monster Truck.
3. Bigfoot, Captain USA, Double Trouble, Toxic and Over Bored will compete.
4. The fire-breathing, car-eating transforming dinosaur robot Transaurus!

The Toughest Monster Truck Tour is coming to the Bicentennial Center on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 PM. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, December 5 at 10 AM.

Tickets are $30 for Gold Circle and $22 for adults; kids (2-12) get in for $10, excluding Gold Circle. So this is why we spent 8 million on the bi-center. We already had this type of entertainment using the center prior to spending all that money. I do not see the current company in charge doing anything different over there say old crap.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT. I THROUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SOME HOT SHOT COMPANY MANAGING THE BI CENTER AND IT TURNS OUT THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING IN GETTING TOP NAMES IN HERE. WE HAVE HAD EVERYTHING THEY ARE DOING IN THE PAST WITHOUT SPENDING ALL THAT MONEY. SINCE WE ARE ON THAT AREA WHY ISN’T CONSTUCTION STARTED ON THE GREELY BRIDGE. IS THIS ANOTHER LIE BY THE COMMISSIONERS. THIS BRIDGE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY NOW.

B*tch B*tch B*tch. Salina is known for b*tching. Maybe you haven’t noticed but they finally brought racing so Salina instead of freestyle. Quite b*tching.
