Police are investigating after numerous tools are taken from a Salina storage unit.

The owner told officers that someone broke into the space at Salina Mini Storage, 2727 Centennial, sometime over the last year between September 3rd and September 3rd of 2013.

Police say an air compressor, wire welder, tire change press, multiple hand tools and other items were stolen after someone removed the padlock.

Total loss is listed in excess of $1,000.
