Salina Police are investigating a forgery case after someone printed look alike checks from a Salina business and cashed them.

Police report that a known suspect walked into two branches of Central National Bank on April 12th and cashed two fake payroll checks from Ceeco, LLC, 204 S. Santa Fe, for over $2,000 each.

A company audit prompted a call to police on May 10th to report that one bogus check in the amount of $2,157.41 was cashed at the Central National Bank at 454 S. Ohio.

A second check was cashed at the Central National Bank inside Wal-Mart at 2900 S. 9th in the amount of $2,354.41. Total loss is listed at $4,511.82.
