Authorities say a central Kansas man has died after his ATV was struck from behind by a SUV.

The Reno County Sheriff’s Office says the man was hit Saturday afternoon after pulling onto the shoulder. He was pinned under his ATV and pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the SUV driver left the scene but has since been identified. They say the driver is cooperating with officials.

No charges have been reported.

Authorities haven’t identified either driver.
