A Salina man is accused of beating a woman he lived with in a south central Salina home.

According to Captain Chris Trocheck, 30-year-old Zachary T. Gonzales was arrested on Saturday after a 30-year-old woman told officers about an incident that took place on April 23rd.

Police say Gonzales is facing charges of domestic battery for dragging, hitting and biting the woman.

He’s also facing a charge of endangering a child for allegedly smoking methamphetamine in the presence of a 3-year-old boy.

Captain Trocheck tells KSAL News the boy was left in the care of his mother.
