A suspicious fire destroys a pickup truck.

Salina Police were called to the scene of  a vehicle fire in the 600 block of W. Walnut at about 9:30pm Tuesday night.

Police say the 1989 Chevy Silverado was fully engulfed in flames when Salina Fire crews arrived.

Investigators say the fire originated inside the cab and is considered suspicious.

The truck suffered major damage and is valued at $2,500.
