KSAL StaffMay 27, 2014

A woman returns home to find her door open and electronics stolen.

Salina Police made one arrest and are looking for another suspect after being contacted by a woman in the 500 block of E. Crawford.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that on Sunday, the victim saw two females leaving the area. She then noticed her door was open and her 32-inch TV, DVD player and several DVD’s were missing.

The woman followed the alleged burglars to the 500 block of Upper Mill Heights and called police.

Officers arrested 23-year-old Christine Rice on burglary and theft charges. The TV has been recovered.

Total loss and damage is listed at $818.
