Arrest Made in June Burglary

A Salina woman is jailed on charges that she took part in a home invasion and battered a woman inside.

Police arrested 49-year-old Lisa Hinderliter on a warrant Tuesday in connection to an incident at an east Salina home on June 6th.

Police allege that Hinderliter and a male accomplice forced their way into the house, grabbed the woman by the neck and forced her to the floor.

The two then took her cell phone and damaged the victim’s car as they fled the scene, throwing a cinder block at the hood of the 2003 Pontiac Grand AM.

Police say the two also ran over her bicycle as they drove away. Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that all three individuals are acquainted.

Authorities are still looking for the male suspect while Hinderlilter is now facing multiple charges that include battery, criminal damage to property and aggravated burglary.
