Arrest Made In Junction City Murder Case

Police in Junction City are putting drivers on notice: They'll soon be enforcing a new ordinance that limits use of cellphones by motorists.
Junction City Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a homicide investigation over the weekend.
Police say in a collaborative effort between the Riley County and Junction City Police Departments with assistance from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, 33-year-old Anthony Stephan Nichols, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the murder of Anthony D. Nixon on September 07th, 2013.
Officers say their investigation is still on going.
Nichols was arrested on 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery Charges.
He is being held at the Geary County Detention Center without bond pending first appearance.
