Arrest Made in Closing Time Attack

A police investigation leads to the arrest of a Salina man after he allegedly slashed a victim with a box cutter outside a Salina bar.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, interviews with eye witnesses helped identify 26-year-old Kashif Wilson as the suspect who attacked a 24-year-old male outside the Inferno at 112 N. Santa Fe on August 10th.

Wilson was arrested on Sunday and is charged with aggravated battery.

The victim was treated at the hospital for two cuts on the left side of his face and a stab wound on his left forearm and released.
