A refrigerator is stolen from a vacant rental home.

Larry Mattison of New Cambria contacted the Saline County Sheriff’s Office after discovering a GE side by side refrigerator was removed from a property he oversees and rents out in the 3000 block of E. Old 40 Highway.

Deputies say someone stole the appliance sometime between Monday and Tuesday morning.

Total loss is listed at $1,000.
