The Saline County Sheriff’s Office was called to an accident at Armstrong and Fairchilds on Wednesday, July 5.

The accident, a single vehicle wreck, occurred at 9:35 P.M.

The vehicle was carrying three people, traveling south on Fairchilds and turning west on Armstrong when a deer entered the roadway and the vehicle swerved to miss it, overturning and falling into the ditch.

The vehicle came to a rest on its top.

The driver of the vehicle is Terri Giersch, 18-year-old, from Tescott and the two passengers were minors.

One was William Lowe, a 17-year-old from Abilene and the other was Kayden Presnell, a 14-year-old, also from Tescott.

Giersch complained of arm pain and Lowe had pain in his head.

Presnell had no complaints of pain, however, all three were sent to Salina Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released.
