An Abilene man was hurt in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in rural Clay County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 63-year-old Gary Leister was driving a 2002 International semi truck puling a trailer, headed south on K 15 Highway. He drove onto the right shoulder, over-corrected, and overturned into the ditch. The truck came to rest on the passenger side.

Leister, who was buckled up, was transported to Clay County Medical Center.

The crash happened at 8:35 Tuesday morning, six miles south of Clay Center on K 15 Highway.
