The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of three ATVs from a Salina machinery business.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that 3 Polaris brand ATVs were stolen early Saturday morning sometime between 1:45am and 2:07am from Straub International, 3637 S. 9th.

Deputies say that thieves apparently used the vehicles pulling power to break the chains that held the ATVs to poles and simply drove away.

All three vehicles are 2-seater, 2014 models.

Total loss and damage is estimated a combined $38,747.
