Law enforcement agencies in Saline County and Reno County are investigating an incident that left one man hurt and a man and woman arrested.

According to Interim Police Chief Carson Mansfield, acquaintances of a man who had recently moved to Hutchinson, allegedly traveled to Reno County and brought him back to Salina on Friday afternoon and beat him.

Police found the victim on N. Broadway and transported him to Salina Regional Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested 25-year-old Thomas D.L. Beatty and 27-year-old Chivon N. Leon, both of Salina. The two are facing charges that include aggravated battery and kidnapping.

Salina Police say the victim was treated and released from the hospital.

Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson tells KSAL News that the incident remains under investigation.
