The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a trailer southeast of Salina.

Deputies say a 15-foot, single axle trailer with a wooden deck was stolen from a property in the 6900 block of S. Simpson Road over the weekend.

Thieves lifted the gate off the fence post hinges to gain access to the property, then left with the black trailer that has a folding ramp o the back.

Total is listed at $1,500.
