A Saline County teen is arrested in connection to the rape of a young girl.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a 14-year-old male has been charged with two counts of rape and is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office learned of the incidents on Monday and report they allegedly occurred last summer on two occasions in Saline County.

The 14-year-old suspect was not identified.
