A classic pickup is stolen from a fenced lot.

Salina Police are investigating the theft of a fully restored 1953 Chevy pickup truck that was being stored in an enclosed trailer.

Police say sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 10:30am on Sunday, someone cut the lock on a fence at 725 N. 11th Street and removed the trailer and pickup.

The estimated value of the truck is $50,000 while the trailer is valued at $7,500.

The truck is green in color and had a personalized tag, “1 NICE 53.”
